Go to the forums link on the left side of the home page, pick the correct forum based on the category of your post and you will see a "New Thread" button at the bottom of that forum.
Guyz, can somebody help me how to post a question here!!! I just got on to the website and created an id. now how do i post my question? i do not see a choice to "Create a New Post" or something like that. I can only see existing posts and do a reply to them..Sorry for being here..

Before i begin let me say its my mistake :(
My EAD expires Oct 08 and my lawyer sent me the forms to file in and send it back to him to be filed in Aug 08. But it was delayed by me till last week and was filed yesterday. what are my chances of getting EAD and continue working. In June 08 i went to India and came back using AP so i am not in H1 (i assume).
what should i do if i dont get EAD approved before oct 08?

How to interpret this inventory doc? I am from india (EB3 PD Sep-2003) Should I sumup all the count prior to my PD to get the total number of cases before me (PD wise)?

TO HRPRO: Thanks for your advise, going back to do the formalaties wont be an option, but yes she can go back to apply from over there for a H4, we are planning to send our docs to the embassy so that we can get a marriage certificate from her country, will that help?

How are you calculating the border right now? Are you simply taking the size of the image and subtracting a few pixels?

The 485 papers due to the rush for July 2nd. So looks like it is normal huh!!!

Just be honest. For now you can say "No" as it is not full time. If VO asks more question on it tell them "you were not sure and ask them what it needs to be since she is doing part time. Take relavent docuemnts to show she is a part time.
All it needs to get visa is Honesty.

If we interpret each and every statement, we will come up with hundreds of comments/opinions. But no conclusion. Right now the processing for AOS is 6 months.
I guess Naturalization means citizenship. Did u apply for citizenship or 485?

If you have waited like me for 6 years to get your Labor Certified, then be prepared to wait another 6 years for 140, even if your PD is current and watch others who filed 5 years after you get their GCs.
I urge IV to raise one issue at the DC Rally. Please please ask Mr. Chertoff to do away with this farce called "Priority Date". It is an useless concept and should be done away with immediately. Everyone knows that the GC process is totally random, so why have something known as a "Priority Date" when it is anything but a Priority Date.

I am currently using my EAD and working for a company remotely from my house. I also have a Permanent Resident Status in Canada. I can work remotely from Canada and my company will not have any objections to it.
Since I am on 485/EAD can I work for a US company and be on their pay roll and live in Canada? What are the ramifications?
Please advise!
Once you are not in US It does not matter. But as for as EAD or H1 It does not matter. Same rules apply as any other country. You have to present in US to apply and get approval for AP.
Taxes issues may be different.
